If you are looking for an all-in one solution to hack your Google Nexus 7 tablet, then you’re in luck. The NexusRootToolkit is a Windows application which enables customizing, rooting, backing up and unlocking the Nexus 7 tablet. However, to use this toolkit, you should install the Nexus 7 drivers on your Windows computer. In the first step, Download the NexusRootToolkit and select Download from the message that appears on your screen.
In case you get a virus warning, don’t be alarmed. Just ignore the warning and select Download anyway. This prompt might appear as the file is too large to download. The file size is 130MB.
Once downloaded, execute the file (by double clicking the EXE file). This will install the file in the default location i.e. C:Wugs_NexusRootToolkit.v1.5.2.
After the installation process ends, the main window of the application will open, displaying all the options for hacking your Nexus 7 tablet. You will also require installing the required drivers for this tool to work.
How To Install The Nexus 7 Tablet Drivers For Windows 7
1. Before the drivers can be installed, make sure that the NexusRootToolkit is installed.
2. Enable USB Debuggingin the Google Nexus 7 tablet.

3. Open the Nexus Root Toolkit and select the Full Driver Installation Guide option.
4. Click on the Step 3b tab, and select Launch Device Manager.

5. Find Nexus 7 below Other Devices and then right click to select the Update Driver Software option.

6. Click on Browseto select the driver software and copy and paste the following path C:Wugs_NexusRootToolkit.v1.5.2datadrivers.
Note:this is the same path where the NexusRootToolKit was installed earlier.
7. You will get a prompt that Windows cannot verify the publisher, ignore this warning and install the driver software.
You should now see a message that Windows has successfully updated your driver software.
How To Verify The Nexus 7 Tablet Drivers On Windows 7
1. Now, to verify if your drivers have been correctly installed, head over to the Nexus Root Toolkit Full Driver Installation Guide and open step 4 tab.
2. Click on List ADB Devices option, which will show you the device’s serial number.
3. Open the Step 5 tab and select Reboot – Bootloader which will shift your device to Bootloader mode.
4. You should now see an Android figure. Proceed and open Step 7 tab and click on List Fastboot Devices which will once more display the serial number of your device.
5. Finally, go to Step 8 tab and select Reboot Device to reboot and return to the Home screen.
If the above mentioned steps were successfully completed then your drivers have been correctly installed.
